At Pacific, we believe sustainable solutions should be at the heart of everything we do. From the back office, to the completed project. We understand that a sustainable solution does not mean compromising design integrity or budget requirements. In fact, it is just the opposite. The foundation for success is reducing material consumption, reusing materials, flexible design, sustainable products, conserving water and energy and managing waste - it is our job to make it as easy as possible for you to achieve sustainable results. Good for the environment, good for your business.
Our goal at Pacific is to include standard sustainable specifications on all of our projects.
Through the “Big 5” approach to paints, flooring, partitioning, fabric and lighting we are able to provide sustainable solutions without compromising quality, design integrity or price. Central to this approach is our commitment to minimise the consumption of materials, minimise waste, and encourage the efficient use of water and energy and the sustainable sourcing of wood.
Our target is to reduce our energy consumption by 20% in 2010.
We want to help you realise the benefits of maximising the use of water and energy. This is why we suggest and specify products qualified under the ECA scheme from the Water and Energy Technology lists on every project. We also provide detailed consultations on the most appropriate lighting and cooling solutions.
Site Waste Management Plans are required by law on projects over £300,000.
We understand the importance of good waste management and are committed to reusing existing materials to avoid producing the waste in the first place and recycling whenever possible. Further to our legal compliance, we implement site waste management plans on all of our projects. Our most recent project is operating at a 95% recycle rate for over 400 tonnes of waste.
